My name is Silvestar Rupetsov and I am 24 years old. Eight years ago, I entered the gym for the first time. The reason I did this was one of my biggest problems – the fact that I was overweight and had to suffer the everyday mocking of my so-called friends.
In the beginning, it was very difficult but soon I got used to following the nutrition and training plan and realized that the harder I work the better results I get.
By the end of my last year at school, I already had the body most of my friends were dreaming of. Then I stopped following any nutrition or training plan for two years and my results literally disappeared. I was back in my initial state! My body structure had its last word and by the autumn of 2015, my excess weight was back. On the 1st of September, I realized that I have to pull myself together and decided to get back my good shape! So, for the period until the beginning of December, I already had a significant improvement but I was not satisfied. I wanted to shock everybody who didn’t believe in me and I set my next goal – the competition stage. I contacted Kiril Tanev as I had heard excellent reviews about his work and I think this was the best I could do.
I am extremely grateful to him because he agreed to work with a person in a bad shape, without any competitive experience, someone he wasn’t familiar with! This was a key moment in my life. Everything went smoothly, I had progress every month and my physique improved enormously. I was much braver in my dreams of the stage until the summer of 2016. I wanted to compete in the Republic Bodybuilding Championship in October but unfortunately, I was hospitalized and diagnosed with spinal disc herniation and everything collapsed. But even in this difficult moment, I had my family and Kiril right beside me. He didn’t let me give up and after only 5 days in hospital, I went back to the gym pursuing my goal.
I was determined to prove to everybody who didn’t believe in me that with hard work and consistency I can achieve everything! But this time it was different, I had to forget about some basic exercises like squats, deadlift and rows. Again, Kiril was the person who took control and prepared a training plan fully coordinated with my diagnosis. We continued working together and didn’t realize how fast April came. My whole contest preparation was extremely difficult with hard and heavy training sessions – a lot of cardio and starvation but it was worth it. Thanks to out hard work I got my biggest award – 3rd place in the Republic Bodybuilding Championship!
